YMCA Cornwall Featured on Cornwall’s Rewind Radio Saturday Takeover

The Saturday Takeover is all about celebrating local voices and sharing stories that matter. Lisa was on air with Lacey from 10am, chatting about the incredible work we do at YMCA Cornwall, the support we provide for young people, and some of the exciting plans we have for the year ahead.

Lisa talked about the Your Help, Their Future campaign to raise funds to build four more homes for young people at risk of homelessness in Cornwall. She also shared some of her favourite tunes from the 80’s, 90’s and 00’s.

“I was incredibly nervous but Lacey was a great host and put me at ease. I got to highlight what we do at YMCA Cornwall and how we support young people at risk. It was also really fun to pick the songs that mean something to me, and talk about our future plans and how people can get involved in our events or support the work we do.” Lisa.
