YMCA Cornwall supports young people who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Your support provides a safe home, life-changing opportunities and a brighter future for young people right here in Cornwall.
Why Your Support Matters
Many young people come to YMCA Cornwall at a crisis point in their lives. They may have experienced:
- Family breakdown
- Loss or bereavement
- Neglect
- Abuse or trauma
Your support helps ensure they have a safe place to turn when they need it most.
What Your Support Provides
With your help, young people can:
- Access a safe and secure home
- Build confidence and learn key life skills
- Improve their wellbeing and rebuild relationships
- Access training, education or employment
- Take positive steps towards independence
Young residents can stay with us for up to two years, giving them time and stability to rebuild their lives.
Organise an event
From cake sales to concerts, any event you choose to host will support young people at risk of homelessness in Cornwall.
Donate to make a difference
We provide homes and a programme of one-to-one support for young people who are homeless or at risk in Cornwall.
