Welcoming the Sedel-Collings Foundation

Welcoming the Sedel-Collings Foundation

YMCA Cornwall was delighted to welcome the trustees of the Sedel-Collings Foundation for a special visit to see the impact of their support and learn more about our work with young people across Cornwall.

The visit provided an opportunity to tour our facilities, meet members of the team, and see first-hand the progress being made at Morris House, where new self-contained flats are being developed for young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Seeing the new flats taking shape

The project has received £18,000 in funding from the Sedel-Collings Foundation through Cornwall Community Foundation, helping to move the development forward and create additional safe and secure accommodation for young people in need.

During the visit, trustees were able to see how their funding is making a tangible difference and hear more about the positive impact these new homes will have on the lives of young people across Cornwall.

YMCA Cornwall is incredibly grateful for the support of the Sedel-Collings Foundation and Cornwall Community Foundation. Partnerships like these play a vital role in helping us continue our mission of providing accommodation, support and opportunities for vulnerable young people.

Thank You for Your Support

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all the trustees for taking the time to visit us. We greatly value their commitment to supporting young people and look forward to sharing the continued progress of the Morris House project.

Together, we are creating brighter futures for young people across Cornwall.
