The Cornish Oven Treats YMCA Cornwall Residents

Needless to say, they were extremely popular, by 5pm, only a handful remained!

The visit was also a fantastic opportunity to welcome members of The Cornish Oven team — Louise, Beth and Bryhar to YMCA Cornwall. They spent time meeting staff and learning more about our work, and exploring how we might collaborate in the future.

Reflecting on their visit, the team said:

“We really enjoyed meeting the team at YMCA Cornwall and talking about how we can support them. What an amazing charity! We were delighted to help by bringing over 50 pasties for the young people they support.”

“Seeing the facilities, meeting some of the young residents and the passionate team has left quite an impression on us all and we are keen to stay connected to see how we can help. Also, the coffee was great! I will be visiting the public café far more regularly now that I know it is there. Thank you, YMCA Cornwall, for making us feel so welcome.”
