Leaving a Gift in your Will

“The future is uncertain, but one thing is for sure: there will always be young people in need of support.”

– The Most Reverend & Right Honourable
Dr. John Sentamu, President, YMCA

Leaving a gift in your Will is one of the biggest personal differences you can make.

Did you know that as well as looking after your loved ones, you can also leave a gift of 1% to charity?

By remembering YMCA Cornwall in your Will, you will be helping to ensure that homeless and vulnerable young people in Cornwall always have somewhere to turn to for years to come. Every gift in every Will, however large or small, makes a difference.

You can leave an amount in your Will, or a percentage to ensure that your wishes keep pace with inflation. Some supporters leave their remaining estate after other gifts and debts have been paid.

It won’t cost you anything now, but your legacy will live on long into the future and you can help ensure that, no matter what new challenges may arise, we will be here to help young people face them.

All you need to do to make your wishes known in your Will is include our charity name and number along with the percentage or amount you’d like to leave:

Charity name: YMCA Cornwall
Charity number: 1073674

You can make your Will online or by visiting a solicitor – you can find a solicitor on the Law Society website.

By leaving a legacy to YMCA Cornwall in your Will you will be ensuring that young people are not held back by
