Aged 16 – 24 and homeless? YMCA Cornwall offers supported accommodation for young people.
We offer advice to young people who find themselves homeless, sofa-surfing, rough sleeping, or need to leave home. Our housing advice is free, confidential and independent.
YMCA Cornwall currently has a waiting list for our supported accommodation. The housing advice appointment acts as a gateway to our waiting list. After this initial interview you will be informed whether your circumstances meet our referral criteria.
The first step is to see a housing advisor. Appointments can be made in person by:
You can contact us directly or we accept referrals from other agencies.
Housing advice appointments are held on Tuesdays at:
YMCA Cornwall, International House, The Orchard, Alverton Road, Penzance TR18 4TE.
Please note that our advice is a general guide to housing and benefits and not a full and authoritative statement of the law. We make every effort to make sure that the information we give is correct and up to date.
